These guys have dried all the fundings aur inhe ab fresh round of funding chahiye. VCs are not ready to give more funds unless Indian startups start to show some profits. Therefore some startups like Unacademy, Dukaan have started reporting profitable just to raise new round of funding. But, I take his word as a pinch of salt. If I would have been an investor, I would ask big auditors like Big4 to audit their financial statements. Jo Insaan apne customer ko twitter pe mock kar sakta he, apne hard working employees ko bina salary deke nikaal sakta he and then mock kar sakta he, uss insan ke liye financial statement Joomla toh chotti baat he. I don't think it's a real profit. They must have done some financial statement trickery. Just to raise fresh round of funds, they posted this.
Their VC funding is drying up, and finding investors for next rounds is proving difficult because of the macroeconomic conditions (apart from glaringly obvious reasons like their hype has died down since it's not 2020 anymore).
