E-commerce Firms Focus on Quick Deliveries This Festival Season

• Zepto plans to hire nearly 500 people across various roles including engineering, product, category, growth, and marketing.
• The hiring surge highlights the industry's role in job creation and its contribution to making India a $5 trillion economy by 2025, notes Balasubramanian A, Senior Vice-President at TeamLease Services.
• Quick commerce is expected to see a 35% sales increase this festive season, with companies expanding into new cities and diversifying their product portfolios to include electronics, beauty, home decor, and wellness products.
