Extra charges in buying a home/flat

Hey Hyderabadis!

I'm planning to buy an apartment. I did the math for apartment cost, down payment, and EMI but I have no idea about the extra/unknown/hidden charges. Can you please let me know what all I should consider?

ASSUMING a 1100 sqft. apartment cost is 60 lakhs & my loan amount is 50 lakhs, I'd like to know about the below things & costs, both one-time and yearly:

1. Total amount we need to pay to the government: GST, Stamp Duty, Registration Charges, Maintenance etc.
2. Total amount we need to pay to the bank: Processing Fees, Insurance, Document charges etc.
3. Total amount we need to pay to the apartment: anything other than the actual house cost?

I really appreciate it if you can help me out here with some numbers/example. It's a big decision for me! Thanks!
