Been wondering how this startup is gonna become profitable at any point. Going to be the same Cheq or CRED story at best.
For the uninitiated, they have their own flash.co email IDs that you can use for shopping, bookings, etc. that you can use to get discounts and stuff. They also have a nice order tracking UI.
If they can milk advertisers using that data, then it would be one way to cash in. Having accurate spend data with correlation across services is a goldmine.
What about the privacy sentiment amongst users then?
Very few Indians care about that tbh. I personally do, and have been a paid Proton user for years and would never use something like flash, but many others would. Data privacy regulations in India are anyways a joke.
