I think when it comes to design, only visual changes are not enough. You also have to communicate your thoughts.
As in, when you redesign something it'll be a lot better if you could explain what improved when you do so. Maybe users can explore a flow in clicks/scroll or something like.
When someone has to make a hiring decision, these words will help them make that decision.

Communicate your thoughts with words.
