Great Place to Work v/s QS IGuage (Account Manager, Client Relations)

I have got 1 year of experience in the education industry, because of which I have gotten to build a network and also have done some freelance work, which has instilled in me some confidence to start a B2B services startup as a side hustle, utilising the network. It's just an idea.

But, I never intended to be in education from the beginning, like, I didn't plan for it.

So, now, I have an Account Manager opportunity at Great Place to Work, and a Client Relations opportunity at QS IGuage (subsidiary of QS World Rankings). Both are essentially B2B consultative sales. The mode of work is physical meetings and presentations with QS iGuage, and virtual meetings with Great Place to Work (GPTW).

Going to GPTW will put a reputed brand on my resume, and opens doors to various industries, which in turn might help with figuring out new business opportunities. Or, opens doors to consulting roles in future (not Big 4, or maybe).

Going to QS iGuage, I retain my existing small network, and build it more. I get to do in person meetings and travel extensively, rather than virtual. It opens doors for consulting for education firms or education arms of consulting firms (Pwc, and more).

Con being - Education is a small industry, B2B wise. I feel I might be thinking narrowly about going with education, just because I know a few people, rather than exploring a general base with GPTW.

Financially, QS iGuage (base salary) - 55,000 per month Great place to work (base salary) - 51,000 per month Plus, quarterly bonus of 24,000, which is 8,000 per month. But, I'm not aware of criteria for achieving the quarterly bonus. Considering, I achieve atleast 50% of bonus, my monthly salary at both places is matched.

So financially, I don't think there's any edge.

Coming back to the choice, is what is the toughest part for me. Once you get into education, you have to stay there, and it's tough to get back into the corporate.

Will need some expert guidance with this.
