38 hours straight, around 10 years and was young at that time. Now if I skip 8 hours of sleep, my day is done

Same. Used to pull all sorts of all nighters and 24+ sleepless days back in college. Nowadays even staying up till 3AM wrecks havoc on the next day.

20 hours was fine.
Baad mein started seeing mental deterioration
Headache. Drowsiness.
Brain fog. Not advisable at all.

Post 30 hrs cognitive function starts to decline.

Did night shift. Stayed up for packing. Came back to office for the night shift (with luggage to leave for airport from work).
Fell sick. 104 temperature. Unable to stand or think straight.
Had to go over to a friends house, sleep for a couple of hours and then left for airport.
Will never try it again

I’ve stayed up for 36 hours straight, and have gone to work at office for 2 days in a row many times without sleeping in between, and nothing happened. Just needed to drink a lot of coffee on the second day to continue working 🤷‍♂️

Went almost 70 hrs without any sleep once in college, but had to take Modafinil for it. Then I went to sleep for 15 hrs straight. Had to clear those mfking sem papers.

I have stayed up for almost 72 hours with a small sleep of 2-3 hours in between. College hackathon stuff.

I’ll tell you what happens - after 48-50 hours your brain starts to get dizzy and you might randomly see flashes or red black dots. Sometimes you start seeing or feeling things that aren’t there. Kinda gets scary.

And even when you sleep for 8-10 hours the sleep debt is too much for one to recover from. So you’ll need 2-3 cycles of sleep to be normal again.

Not something, I’ll ever recommend to anyone.

Feel like deleting grapevine because I'm spending too much time on it T_T

I've been trying to actively avoid Social media platforms for the past few years but spending time here feels much more productive and useful compared to most others (bakchodi and comedy is bonus ofc).

Anyone else in the same boat? 😂
