How do you rise up from a bad day?
Today was one of those days. I was probably the worst version of myself today and probably my line manager, colleagues noticed it and knew it. I keep showing up, but I need some motivation to get ambitious and win big. How do you undo a bad day?
One interview, 1000+ job opportunities
Take a 10-min AI interview to qualify for numerous real jobs auto-matched to your profile 🔑By knowing that no one will remember it after a week. Wake up next day and carry on. No point dwelling over something that probably everyone would forget based on number of interaction everyone has to go through in a workspace

Unfortunately it was a 1:1 and almost all of them are tracked

Unfortunately, there are no Undo. Everyone can have a bad day but if you have if you can do some root cause analysis and learn from it, nothint better. Rather than trying to forget, i always try to repeatedly think about that event untill i feel no more pain and only productive output about how differently I could have handled the situation.

Few things I'll suggest -
- Talk to any senior or friend who has similar role, they'll understand your situation & provide better advices
- Take a short break, for few days travel somewhere - empty your mind, absorb new ideas, thoughts , meet new people etc
- Lastly just remember this is phase & it'll pass

Overthinking doesn't help, sometime you have to tell the truth and apologize.
A few years back even I had faced same thing, I went to the manager and told him that I apologise for all the things which happened, I think I need some break. He allowed me 2 week leave.

Thanks for the idea 💡

You can't undo a bad day, and you can't avoid one either. You can only learn from them.
You don’t undo a bad day. You accept that good and bad days are part of it. You can’t stick to the good ones and hope that they stay, neither will the bad days be with you always.
TL;DR: Accept that days can be both good and bad. You can’t hang on to good days, neither will bad days be there always.
Bad days don’t define you, but how you respond to them does. Acknowledge it, learn from it, and let it fuel your growth. Have a quick reset ritual: a walk, journaling, or a chat with someone uplifting. Come back tomorrow with clarity and quiet confidence; that’s how you win big.
