How should I advance my career in marketing to land high paying jobs?

I currently work at a real estate marketplace startup and look after content, SEO, and executing facebook abd google ads. I don’t have any marketing degree yet. Whatever I’ve learnt, it’s on the job. I’m thinking of pursuing distance MBA, since I don’t want to leave my job. Another thought is to take up online courses by ed-tech institutions.

Can someone guide me please?

The expectation is reasonable and quite possible.

To get there, you may learn more about the following:

  1. All formats of content, long and short.

  2. SEO - You're already at it.

  3. Paid Ads - Meta and Goggle you're aware of. Learn LinkedIn Ads.

  4. E-commerce Ads - While your current company may not offer this possibility, lookout for freelancing projects that does this.

  5. Email marketing - Important for all sorts of business.

  6. Marketing Automation - If you can show your future employers how you can create for them a well-oiled marketing machine that requires less human intervention, you definitely have a better chance of getting hired.

An MBA is not going to be a deal breaker but can definitely add some brownie points.

Distance MBA from only reputed organisation is advisable, e.g., IIMs, IMT Ghaziabad, XLRI, etc.
