Which bank for salaried account?
Hi, I'm a fresher. I want to know, are there any benefits of having a salaried account in a particular bank? If so, which ones do you suggest would be the best one. My office has a tie-up with HDFC bank.
I am starting my first job and have no clue how to select a bank for my salary account. We have been given the following options : HDFC Axis ICICI and SBI.
What are the factors and which I can decide? Any help or personal experiences appreciated!
ICICI for the better (amongst the 4) online banking / app experience.
ICICI net banking/app experience is pretty smooth. Haven't visited the branch even once.
I have had salary accounts with both HDFC and kotak, if given a choice go for kotak anyday.
Gives a personalized treatment with someone calling you every now and then asking about your banking needs.
HDFC is shit in that sense.
I've accounts with all four and ICICI is by far the best in terms of digital and mobile banking. Never visited a branch.
Compared to HDFC, even SBI's net banking is better, so that should tell you how bad it is.
Though ask each bank representative what additional benefit they can offer (in monetary terms) and the decide.
