I love this country!
Jiostar lays off 1000 employees so that they can pay criminals to be on their shows.

Indian companies are not more than traders. They have only one strategy, buy low and sell high. If margins are low, cost reduction.
Its time for reverse migration back to villages. As a city based individual, Am literally taking up all the risk and sharing all the rewards in form of taxes. How many know this? the normal BSNL landline/Internet cost 50% cheaper in Villages compared to cities? I can maintain the same kind of lifestyle, with 50% of my earning in a village?
Why am i working hard for supplying freebies to lazy people ?

Not just criminals, cheap criminals.

All of this just to a show a bit extra profit to shareholders

They are scumbags who are encouraging the younger generation to explore, enjoy themselves, and make money by getting views on YouTube and Instagram instead of studying.

Wait a minute, leaving aside these faaltu "influencers", what made you think that layoffs wouldn't happen? How is it about the country? Fundamentally, any merger or acquisition leads to layoffs due to duplicate roles from both the companies so that was bound to happen. We love to bring in emotional angle to every thing happening across country.

I was shortlisted for interviews with JioCinemas in October then the HR informed that they're merging with Hotstar so there will be an org restructuring and now the lay off.
Maybe I should really thank my stars.
But seriously, can we even expect to get a stable job in the current scenario?

My PPO went on hold due to merger, they mentioned might reach out in March, but now all hopes are gone

Fuck the Elvish thing really hurts I understand it's business, but it pains a lot when you see 1100 employees one side and Elvish Yadav getting paid on one side 😢

Chapri criminals, Chapri channels😄

Cogoport company culture 🤡

HackerEarth Layoffs
HR-Tech platform recently laid off 10% of their workforce and also announced pay cuts for the employees.
Funny how they boast about not having to layoff employees in media.
