Although I am not living abroad but can relocate, here is my assessment

  1. Top talent - these are the people who have the cutting edge opportunities in either academic or industry. They would have no regrets. There is no equivalent opportunity in India.
  2. Low talent - these guys are unable to work hard or lack political skills et all to do well in India. They have some job abroad but that is the best for their ability. They want to come back but can't
  3. The middle talent - these guys are good either in India or abroad. But given enough time, with marriage kids, home loan etc they are unable r o move up the ladder and get stuck. They are the ones always thinking the grass is green on the other side and want to relocate. But because they have been abroad want equivalent pay which entails leadership position in India but they do not possess the skills. The biggest regret is with this group. They are just biting time.

I am sure there are other points about Infra schools corruption daily hassales etc is well known
