Can someone share in detail how can I invest in US Stock Market from India, what would be the remmitance charges and what are the tax implications, other things to keep in mind l, etc etc..

Vested is the cleanest imo. I found INDmoney too intrusive.

5% TCS till the annual limit of 7L. 20% post that.

TCS is set-off against actual tax due so it's primarily opportunity cost & cost of capital loss.

Tax treatment LTCG in the US is 20%. US-India have a DTAA.

Does the tax get deducted at Vested's end when I am adding the funds? Also, are there any remmitance charges when sending the money to a US brokerage account from India?

There is simple way and there is complex way. The question is do you want to invest in individual stock or are you fine with index?

Can you please share for both? When you talk about Index funds, are you talking about Motilal Oswal Nasdaq 100 FoF? Is so, I already have an SIP in it.
