Is CA asking your IT password common for filing ITR?

I recently hired a CA from a friend. Wont they use their creds to do the job.

I think you can add an CA in the portal and I guess during filing it can be mentioned who filed it ( self vs CA )

He's misguided by someone. There is no option of filing ITR through CA login. Add CA option is available for tax audit report not for ITR.

He's either misguided by someone or deliberately spreading fake news. There is no option of filing ITR through CA login.
Add CA option is available for tax audit report not for ITR.
