Joining party
My team especially my boss always directly insults me for not throwing a joining party. It's been almost 1.5 years for me in the company and now boss also calls me kanjoos for the same. How am I able to throw a lunch for a team of 11 people having a pay of 35k (after increment of 7% which I have started receiving from July 2024)?
My rent is 10k Emi is 6.5k Travel cost is 3-4k Food cost is 4-5k Mobile and wifi cost is 1k Groceries and essentials 2-3k Investment is 4k Gas is 0.6k Other costs to family (if any) 1-2k Weekend costs (food+entertainment if I could save) 2k

And if u are feeling too bad then set a budget, let's say 5k, tell this to ur manager that this is my budget I'm ready to give the party and apart from this budget whatever will be the extra cost, everyone has to split that amount.
Problem solved. No one will ask again.
Thanks for the suggestion but its really hard to save for a party as I don't think that I have been able to spend on myself even from past 5 months
Adding on, I haven't been able to save anything or even invest anything from st 3 months due to certain exigencies
