I just joined a new internship (my first offline internship) at a big company and don't know what to do here... I am getting small tasks that I finish in half a day, not getting a big project and then I'm free for the rest of the office hours, don't know if I should ask for work or it would be allotted to me. I know it's silly but is this normal? And what should I do? I need clarity regarding corporate life, lmao!
Ask your supervisor for more work. Ask if you can shadow him/her and learn more.
In case you are clear about what you want from the internship, speak with your supervisor as to the best path.
