In most of the company there is no MDM team, most of the times IT folks manage that.

It does not come under Cyber Security. But, some service based companies do have MDM teams for management of Intune.
MDM Management can be a part of EDR or there are specific vendors who cater to MDM management( Microsoft INTUNE) Nowadays there are even OT/Iot management
