I got a decent hike and better job/brand. My current role is wfh until they call, but new role is in Mumbai.
Initially I was not sure had a convo with parents whether to take it or not. After discussing all this, finally when I said I'm gonna accept my mom broke and started crying. (Cause I'll leave for mum then)

Story of my life. Had an offer from Mumbai. Good enough hike and a profitable company.
Resigned from my previous job. Last day passed by.
My father had passed away due to covid and she would be alone when i left. A day before i was going to leave, mom went into shock.
Had to reject the Mum offer and so I am now jobless, looking for opportunities near hometown.
You don't have any siblings or joint family that can take of your parents?
Take her along to Mumbai. Live for a few months together and see how she settles down there
Go for the role in Mumbai. Let her know that you are going so that she can reunite with you in Mumbai.
When you raise yourself, you raise your family as well. She will understand and support you.
Go to Mumbai, settle down with a flat, call her to your place.
Taking your parents to a new city isn’t as obvious as it looks. My mom feels very out of place in cities and it’s very hard to find people she can relate to. Taking someone from NCR for example to Bangalore is very hard especially for parents. I have friends but what about them.
You might not even find people of same age speaking the same language. And I do want to take care of her
