It can’t be true, Mrinal is not qualified enough as a CEO. He was byju’s student and joined byjus back in 2011. Byjus was smart and used him as a CEO of a company and gave his 5 students around him CXO roles and made a strong Dominance via these pawns in the board of directors . Mrinal was lucky he become a CEO when he’s only qualification was he was a student of byjus whos only option was to join byjus. Win Win for both of them. This is such absurd news and knowing GM, he would never bring anyone from CXO level from a competitor which is fairly badly to run a company where he has more skin in the came and expect him to turn things around.
Even if this was true for some god knows reason (which I don’t think it is) the dude will never be brought in at CEO level. Max a VP at best, but then again the buck stops with GM.
