Need help with Mixpanel & Branch.io
We recently integrated Branch.io for marketing analytics & tracking.
We are facing 2 problems majorly.

None of the Facebook events are getting populated on Mixpanel. However, we are able to see the events on Branch’s dashboard.

Very few events from Google are tracked on Branch. A lot of events are getting populated under “Unpopulated” on Branch.
It would be really really helpful if someone had faced similar issues and were able to solve it.
We reached to Branch and raised ticket as well. But since, we are on self-serve model, we haven’t yet got any assistance.

That's a challenge with Facebook, they block Branch from sharing with any third parties. I was able to use deeplinks, but even post, only 40% of users would get caught on Mixpanel. Ultimately, I started tracking retention on Branch cohorts itself, and relying on that data to double down on campaigns

Not very sure about this one. I would track everything from Google on Mixpanel itself, since you legit can track all users, and then on MP can see everything that they are upto. Did not rely on Branch for Google.

Basically track retention data by campaigns for Meta, and then grow the ones with good retention, optimize the ones with poor retention
