Which bollywood movies made you cry ?
for me it's:
Taare Zameen Par(2007) Veer Zaara(2004) Dasvidaniya (2008) Dosti (1964) Udaan (2010) Kal ho na ho (2003) Ghajini (2008) Rang de basanti (2006) Ranjhanaa(2013)
Zoya Akhtar new low, save time and mood by not watching neo movies
I don't understand what's the issue with nepotism. Parents do work hard to create a better life for their next generation. And also it's not like they will always get movies. In the end, it's the audience that will decide their fate.
Sold to the highest bugger
I think the problem is the one that gets intermixed in the conversation. It's the vanity and evangelism of Bollywood. Kapoor family has been there since Raj Kapoor but filmmaking hasn't been the same.
It isn't irregular now with script changes happening on sight, screen presence requirements and toll on the crew involved. They needed to be something people could relate to or look upto. Even after all of that, you surviving as an actor wasn't a guarantee.
Problem with the nepo crowd is because they know they'll be getting movies even after dozens of failure, they have stopped trying. 2000s, 2010s movies had a lot more emphasis on doing dance, glamour and screen presence. Can you expect the same from Jahnvi Kapoor, Ananya Pandey?
Furthermore, they have developed evangelism and vanity now. As their families have generations now in movies, they feel entitled like Zoya Akhtar was here. Many act like they are high class and speaking Hindi is too low, going to the level of not even speaking Hindi at home and then appearing in Hindi movies later. I thought being able to speak Hindi was part of the job requirement of Bollywood but whatever. All of this while speaking Gen Z English with slangs while still lacking basic vocabulary and grammar
So, the problem isn't with nepotism, it's the nepo people's portrayal of something which audiences can't relate to or don't want to look upto. The Deols have blasted records this year but you don't think of nepotism there first hand
I was having trouble sleeping for days. That movie put me to sleep in minutes. Zoya has created a wow movie
You make a choice to or not to watch them movies. So if you watched whatever you watched and are trashing it after - know that it was your choice in the first place
my bad, they didn't pay you for the review. I got paid to spread bad word so that more people go and watch them and make them famous and get more likes and followers on Instagram and kill 100 of career dreams of other who didn't get rich parent
