Hi! I'm in a non tech role at a tech company - I work in Corporate Communications. Are there others here who work in similar roles?
I’ve been part of marketing team previously before transitioning into product management.
Have closely worked with pr and comms team. Give you decent exposure to tech stuff.
Getting your hands dirty by being in tech or product does help esp from a long term pov
That's pretty cool. If you don't mind me asking - How did you make the transition to PM ? Was it something you wanted and do you find it rewarding? Would love to know because I've thought about this before

It was pretty awesome tbh. I think it’s a job that one can love if you like to think from a customer/user perspective and are good with communication skills - both written and spoken. Overall I’ve always enjoyed marketing roles so I’m a bit biased
