Off topic - If dowry is illegal why not alimony?

Recent cases have made me wonder what has society come to? To remove one bias, we end up creating another (a bigger one) like making laws to oppress men in order to emoower women, creating reservation in jobs/education which actually oppress low-income people from general, giving freebies or tax exemptions to majority voter base while squeezing middle class (direct and Indirect taxes). Why empowering one group on expense of the other? Imagine being a middle class, general caste, male in today's world and your life will look like hell already (no wonder the suicide rates are high). With this kind of mentality, where are we heading towards? Who will speak for us???????????

World is heading towards dystopia. Best solution: suffer and die. Better not have children.

With all the economic development and vishwaguru what will we do if our society will be broken by the time we achieve our developmental goals. Govt and citizens are only focusing on hard development points like infra, economy, education etc. which all are important but no one is talking about how families are falling apart, greed and corruption are rising, kindness is dying and many more people are becoming emotionless.

True equality and equity require fundamental changes to society and careful considerations, which are resource-intensive and hard to come by. For example scrutiny and implementation of law and regulatory bodies.

As a result, systems are created by people in power that punish groups perceived as privileged, creating the illusion of justice.

Before you respond with "equality feels like oppression to the privileged," it may appear true on the surface, but on a deeper level, it holds many nuances. Without careful consideration, you risk perpetuating the same injustices you sought to combat. That quote, on the surface, is like saying "ab mote ko mota, chote ko chota aur kaale ko kaala na bole to kya bole?"
