Offer Negotiation

I am currently in a company which pays me 27 lakhs , my years of experience is 18 yrs and I am senior Devops engineer.

I have an offer for 36 lakhs with some shares for similar post from western digital. I feel for 18 yrs experience it's less and have asked for 40 lk and shares I don't care if they give or not..

What do you guys think?

Take it , and keep looking for other offers. 36 is better than 27

They may not give. But 36 is still better don't leave the offer

27 -> 36 shouldn't make a big difference in your life, especially if you're living a decent one already and have your future secured.

Keep looking for better offers, and seek leverage with the one you have in your current company as well. At this point in your life I believe, switching jobs for a few more Ks in your bank account wouldn't make much sense. But I could be totally wrong ! Take it with a pinch of salt.
