PM role after Undergrad ?

I am a 3rd year student from tier -3 private college, pursuing btech is it possible to get PM roles just after under graduation, have seen people from tier -1/2 pursuing vague branches like coal mineral sort of engineering and still be able to crack roles as a PM at tech companies . Also one should aim for a role like this after undergrad or just it demands more exp? Also any roadmap you would recommend

Don’t fall for the hype. Pick a role where you learn hard skills like coding, design, marketing or sales.

After 3-4 years, you can move if you are still interested in Product Management.

PS- I am a PM with 10+ years experience.

And given the market condition, getting a job might be tough. So choose wisely. Stick to hard skills

PM is T shaped role. First build your moat with the depth of knowledge that is go for functional roles. Coding, design analysts etc before jumping to this one. Or you will feel lost.

Very hard to get into PM as a fresher. Ideally, it is a role suited for someone who has spent some time in industry. It is a role with high impact, high visibility and high accountability. So, better learn hard skills after graduation like coding. Then you can figure out yourself
