Hi folks, I'm doing a product teardown on Topmate.io and wanted to understand some things from someone who is either a creator there or has taken a session there.
Paid sessions of creators are completely useless
Appreciate your response. Additionally, can you please help in understanding your particular experience with topmate, if any?
Also, I thought ADPlist is very similar to topmate, ofcourse if we talk about the domestic audience but you blatantly stated that the two are very different so can you please share how?
Tbh, Topmate is a crap. Many who book a session with any creator never do it again bcz end users don't see any value from the so called creators.
Platforms like these made people lose respect on mentorship as a whole. Any paid mentorship never results in a positive outcome. Mentorship is a process and intent driven. People often see more value in adplist than topmate bcz on adplist mentors have that intent to truly help someone. While on topmate it's all about that 1 hour and money paid for that.
First go and see the experience of those so called creators. While some not even 1 yr experience while some while in clg call themselves as mentors/creators just to make money by misguiding students
