A Journalist feeding Reddit and Grapevine posts into GPT and coming out with articles. This is peak laziness.
One stupid techie rants and it becomes news.
For context, I live in a 2BHK in a gated setup with amenities in Bangalore and manage my entire month within ₹35K. I eat and drink outside and order frequently from Zomato, go for movies etc, use a flagship phone. And easily manage within ₹35K.

Entire article: Name of the journalist nowhere mentioned. Link of the said reddit post not posted.
Even the journalist feels shame authoring it and knows it's a sensational clickbait.
If we knew the journalist name, we would have doxxed his LinkedIn link and called him out for his lazy report.
Rent in Bangalore is expensive, but I agree that the other expenses mentioned in the article are quite inflated.

Nonsensical articles. Tech industry has the highest number of whiners.
The article talks of a 22 year old who thinks he needs 4-5 lak per month. I think he is spending too much time on GV.
