Hi, which account is opened for salary purposes And which bank is better ICICI or HDFC In terms of services and credit cards
Salary Account is opened, which is basically a type of Savings Account only.
Go for whichever is offering lifetime free credit card with free airport lounge offers😄 I think none of them do.
I personally dislike ICICI Bank due to a fraud they had attempted once, so HDFC I would say. But only if someone is having both accounts, can he suggest correctly. It won’t make huge difference whichever you choose.

I've been using Kotak Mahindra as salary account and it is pretty good. For saving accounts you could compare interest rates and open one.
