I have been planning to apply for the Salesforce Application Engineer role at Google. Looking for answers to the following questions:

How difficult are the DSA rounds?
How much total work experience is required for my resume to be considered for an interview?
Apart from the usual Salesforce related questions, are questions asked from some other domain as well?
Will HR even consider my resume if I am applying without any referral?

I'll answer some of your questions.
The interview is nowhere related to salesforce. The round 1 starts with dsa. In all, there will be 4 rounds, all of them being dsa.
Yes a referral is absolutely necessary.
Dsa round 1 is somewhere on the easy level of leetcode problems. 2nd round will be medium level leetcode.
