Silent layoff at Flipkart

I was really good performer but after big billion day sale behaviour of my manager and stakeholders changed , my manager assigned me unrealistic tasks of machine learning , skill which himself doesn't know and then keep humiliating me , approve leaves and delete the msgs , stakeholders deleted the msgs of requirements and later say you didn't understand the task , until year end review when my manager said we will be putting you on pip , which clearly wasn't justified as I had 18+ appreciation mails within an year + awards, no written communication in between anything . When I tried checking with hr , they didn't help and now after resigning also they have very much cold behaviour against me ,skip doesn't reply , they aren't ready to wave off joining bonus.

I feel like I should post everything with photos of chats and everything . They have done similar with people whom they terminated in my team , constantly humiliating in front of others. Never join this company .

Oh damn. I'm sorry to hear that, must've been pretty weird to be working well but hearing something else.

Companies can sometimes be assholes. I hope you find something that suits you better soon,.

Its quite common, skip needed a scape goat & you were easier to fall in. Posting chats screenshots & names would help you in anyway, unless you want to file a legal case & stay out of job for 3-6 years.

Learn from mistakes & move on!

Actually it feels miserable , you work honestly , give everything , try to meet expectations and then they play really dirty and top of it humiliate you

I dont think he should do that. May be reach labour commission but don’t have this fight in public.

Very sorry to hear that Spear. I'd gone through the same a few years back and it ate at me everyday.

I never figured out what went wrong. It made me not trust companies and managers again.

Dont let that happen to you.

Damage has already been done 🙂 I will never trust anyone in it industry again

I know, I've jumped 7 companies in a span of 6 years since then. But trust me, you'll be the only one paying the price of it. No one cares if you're hurting.

Realise that emotion and heal yourself ASAP. I know it takes time but atleast push your logical brain to think in that direction

DancingPickle

Write a mail to your hr and ask them for clarity also mention that id they dont provide an answer to you you will be seeking help like labour commission

Bro , I shared everything , chats , ideally in their policy they have to give written feedback for poor performance mid year when they have acknowledged me in R and R , I have stakeholders to back me up about my performance but they are not ready to listen and nobody talks to me or replies to me , contract role people they have already terminated, it's like till big billion day they needed me they were fine and now this

DancingPickle

Then i think you shoul file a case in labour commission

There is very strange way of getting rid of people in Indian companies. Managers start misbehaving, manipulating and all sort of tactics they do. Unfortunately no one is there for support. Mostly HR is also complicit. Indian institutions will never improve. Better to find space in some MNC.

BouncyPretzel

So true , I will never join Indian company

This is not the case with Indian company.even mnc does this

I am really sorry for you bro. Take sometime off. And observe the reality. There are equally good people to help you out at this situation. What kind of roles fits your skill set? I can help you connecting with people.
