You know I used to like Samay because at times he is just super hilarious but with latent he almost feels like he is the king of the world. I know you want to create a humour for gen z but as a content creator the words you speak holds a lot of responsibility.
Words have power to influence a generation, I know this will sound very corny but Hitler was able to convince a country towards making humans do the most inhuman things. The way samay is headed with it's content, he is indirectly making a wrong impression of comedy among youths.
Over the course of time, this pours down the minds in the worst manner possible. Just few time back I heard my younger cousin talking about latent and It made me almost uncomfortable because at his age, I don't think he has the mental capacity to understand what's comedy on camera and how to behave in a social setting. This show getting normalised is the sad reality of YouTube India.
And why did you like him? All he speaks is some abuses and some third rate hidden swipe, typical chapri talks, just like some college kids talking all abusive and filthy to garner some cool brownie points among some cool club by being vulgar, loud and abusive!
Forget Samay, even if you rewind 3 years back and ask your cousin about what is porn, OF & sex. He/she will give you a detailed explanation and wouldn't even shy away. Internet is available everywhere. Don't blame a single guy out there.
Why do people think that kids are as innocent as we used to be at that age.

Not some fanboy here but I am tired of people getting triggered of comedy.
As for Ranveer, he has definitely raised the bar by creating podcast and make learning history look cool. As for Samay, he became famous first when he introduced Chess as a career to general public.
So, calling them out suddenly for some jokes in which the speaker and listener, both are enjoying is just plain old uncle mindset.
These kind of behaviour is why India won't ever reach Andrew Schulz or Michael Blaustein level in comedy.
P.s. : Woke mindset sucks.
I called it long ago, this was like a one hit wonder, unhinged comedy is not funny. It shot up really fast so the downfall would be even fast.
If you want to watch proper comedy, watch biswa or pania, only two intelligent comedians I feel, I don't understand zakir, he's a simp and the rest are your delhi type hindi comics, nothing really funny about them....the only hindi comic I like is vipul
This is nothing new, forget this specific incident, this show itself is such a shitshow. I am surprised why so many people online shamelessly appreciate this show. This show’s entire agenda seems to garner trp by venting out such cheap vulgar and cringe content. That is their entire angle, and yet so many stupid around talk about the show appreciatively.
People call them Celebrities...Union Ministers giving long shot interviews to them.... EdTech platforms making them ambassadors....they're being called in family shows like KBC...
The worst part is Chapri's are defending this as well....and asking ppl to accept it as comedy because western Ppl is doing the same and we are a copy cat so we will also do the same to look cool and intellectual... And adopt foreign templates without having a cultural context in mind....

Just to prove that he is also cool and can do dark comedy... Ranveer crossed the limit. Talking about samay he is spontaneous and just like any other teenage guy but he knows the limit.
He's even worse...they all are the same...they can do anything for money and fame....These guys know the shortcut of getting fame and money...
