Yes working from office. May leave office in 1-2 year time. Might get laid off in between, then I don’t know how to manage the lease, how to find some one to transfer etc.
Surprised to see no one suggesting a Used Car. This is your first car, no point spending 10+ Lakhs on it and having another massive EMI to worry about, when your timeline is also just 1-2yrs.
Buy a used car 6-10yrs old nicely maintained one. You would be spending less on it and you can sell it again 2yrs later if need be without much depreciation.
And before people start talking abt used cars being "unreliable", just make sure you full service records from brand service center are available and get the inspection done before buying. That is sufficient peace of mind. If you pick out models which went hugely popular, then even maintenance will be easier.
