PM future seems bleak?
Almost every other post about PM function is as eye opening as this. What do you guys think?
Not getting any interview calls. Is this happening with everyone (who is not from tier 1 college)?
anyone (freshers or experienced) looking for PM jobs must understand that it is not going to be easy in this market. 2 years ago PMs were in absolute demand: because we were in a growth at all costs market. cut to 2024, it’s a profitability at all costs territory. this means employers are looking at lesser innovation and experimentation and more savings every day. hang in there but align your expectations accordingly.
Heard from my friends, that the market is not good at all.
