I did back in 2018, I did engg then gave few exams and got good rank in MPCET and did MBA, life after that was hell, got assigned to sales role, repetitive begging and manipulating people. Went through a lot for 2 years. One day I just packed and left for home. Relaxed for 2 months learned tech skills got in the market, started with local companies and gradually made my way into big firms! It’s a tough decision but had my family to support me through this! I’m grateful for what I have now and the lessons I learned then.

Career switches aren’t just possible; they’re powerful when done with clarity and guidance. With 8 years in IT and a people+business lens, roles in Product, BizOps, or HR-Tech could align well. Talk to professionals who've been there through Hiked.in, they’ll help map your strengths to real roles. Sometimes one honest convo gives you the direction 8 years couldn’t; try it.
