Switching from Engineering to Product.

I've been a Software Engineer for 3 years now. In Native Android and have been part of companies like Zomato and as the first engineer for an early stage startup.

My reason to switch to product management is that I no longer enjoy development and I have fallen in love with Product development. Numbers , metrics and feature inception kinda feels like my game.

I've also done freelancing too.

I need advice from the folks in product management that how can I make a switch.

Internal switch is not possible as I'm not employed currently.

Have watched and prepared for Product Manager interviews and applying very religiously, still no calls.

Can someone please guide me.

I'd really appreciate your help.
