Switching from service to product based company

I’m a UX Designer planning to switch to a product based company. I have 2 YOE and was wondering what I should expect while trying to switch.

I’ve heard that it can difficult trying to switch from a service based company, but how would it be for my experience level?

I’m aware that there is also a huge pay difference but not sure whether it is fair to ask for 100% hike or more in this situation.

Would love to hear your thoughts, experiences or advice on this. Thanks!
