Can someone tell me is it worth to join tcs on ctc of 50 LPA vs IBM 42.4 LPA. Also confused about take home salary. Please provide inputs.

Remove QVA, pf+ grauity from tcs offer and pf + gratuity from ibm offer. As every said you only receive 30-40% of QVA. This will give you an idea of what to expect per month.

I would say compare fixed component from both companies and make decisions there's no certainity regarding variablepay in these times. If you get it lucky if not can't do nothing much. Also what's your YOE and tech stack if I may ask

IBM doesnt have variable pay. Tcs has around 6.5 L variable. Domain Senior Data Architect. exp 18 Years.

I heard that TCS is not giving variable pay to senior employees since last 4 years, so remove variable part completely and just match the fix part only for comparison.

Also i am not sure but i read somewhere at senior level, TCS tries to reduce salary. is this really true?
