TCS offered me only 32% hike. Should join TCS or not?

TCS is a good company if you want to settle or retire and it has good perks but no good hikes. When compared to Wipro yes TCS is good company.

TCS offered CTC?

No, even if your years of experience is more.If you join TCS you will settle for 35 and will get addicted to comfort zone by virtue of which you will also restrict yourself to a life style which can be fulfilled only within 35 lpa for a longer period of time. Better, I would recommend other companies (remote) positions like EPAM which offers good work life balance and better perks than TCS that will allow you to make number (let say 4-5) of switches with higher packages and allow you to grow professionally with better work experience and increased salary as a result you will have more savings and gain more purchasing power which will not happen if you join TCS and you will restrict yourself to just 35 lpa for longer period of time (8y-9y) and you will loose the golden opportunity to explore the world outside TCS. You can join TCS when you’re old (save if for later).

@Old_monk TCS is good compared to Wipro. Are you in B3 band now ? What’s the band that they are offering in TCS ? Associate consultant ?
