Reputation, yes that's worth chasing, but the worst combo is having high fame and no money, even worse than having no fame and no money.

We all are here for money to be honest designation and reputation its all bullshit no body cares and you won’t care for sure if you are not getting money from the organisation who provides good designation and reputation, we all are primarily here for money that’s why we switch primarily no matter whats the situation of organisation is.
You go to any 5- star hotel or Pan/cigarettes shop they ask for money, not the company , designation and etc.
I think even your relatives will follow you for money. Even your lame jokes will be funny when people know you have deep pockets.
Money is power and backbone. No body listens or cares for empty pockets.
This is harsh reality.
Relatives will follow you only if they know that you are willing to spend your money on them
