A lot of have over time have worked with different managers. What would you want to change in your manager (assuming he/she was OK and not abysmal) so that they become good (as per you)?

Nothing. I believe each person is a complicated package and reacting to lots of stuff not visible to all. Changing something would only make a chain of changes.
