From being an Assistant System Engineer Trainee to becoming an Associate Consultant would take about 15 to 17 years of your career. In terms of remuneration, it would put you in the 16 to 18 LPA bracket. The range is wide enough because your previous performance-based yearly hikes have a compounding effect on your compensation despite being promoted. A promotion in TCS would give you a flat 10-12% of raise.
