Personal experience during lockdown - remote work just ensures BAU. If something strategically innovative or pathbreaking needs to be achieved, huddling together, brainstorming & exchanging thoughts and having immediate access to each other is important

It's the local govt that's forcing corporates RTO as that will increase local revenue and may provide indirect employment: cab drivers, house help, support staff in office, etc.

Ok, so hear me out (actually read, but okay!)

Hire a person, have them work in office all 5 days for a year or two. Once you know the person is a good fit for your culture, give them permanent WFH.
