Which Indian Startup/product has surprised you with how big it became?

We always doubt some. For me it was Zepto, never thought I’d see them here. But they’ve really managed to grow while Swiggy and Blinkit were around.

Which other startups have surprised you by becoming big, despite all odds? Or despite not seeming like big opportunities for you?

If possible, rush the other companies interview and negotiate to and fro between companies based on offer letter. If you are switching to WFO from remote then I'm thinking at least go for 25LPA, Because blr is expensive.

Simpl. They are doing business with human laziness. If you directly pay with upi pin instead of pay later, then their entire business may collapse.

Meesho - They have on of the worst UI and Delivery experience but currently they are buying back ESOPs

It's not just laziness. It's also about cashflow. A customer can pay for something 15 days later when they actually have money / when the salary credits.

Simpl is more than that now. They've pay in 3, they have their own payment gateway (try going to snitch(dot)com and buy something. They have one click in almost every top B2C apps and get a commission for every TXN. So I think it's doing great now after their event layoffs
