Which windows laptop is best under 1 lacs for coding( microservices, kubernetes, performance testing, frontend etc.)

I have shortlisted Samsung book 4 pro ( ultra 5, 16 GB, 512 gb) and Asus Zenbook 14 oled( ultra 5, 16 gb, 1 tb).

I don't have confidence on Asus because as a brand I have everything from Samsung (AC, fridge, phone etc..)

If you guys know some other model do let me know.

I'm using Asus.
Battery is the only concern.
Their Support is really nice, they come to your home for the any repair (they travelled 40km for me) - Not sure if they charge money for it, bcs in my case it was under warranty period.

I haven't seen anyone using Samsung Laptop, so please be very sure about it. Samsung as a brand for laptop, uhm not sure.

Don't go for HP, Dell, etc. They are expensive as compared to the hardware they provide.

If your budget allows, u can buy Mac as well, thoda expensive but worth it.

May I know from which city you are ? And yeas, haven't seen much people using samsung laptops. May be because they are 30% expensive with same configuration as compared to Asus etc..

Also from where did you buy Asus? Online or some store?

I have Asus vivo book 14 inch with i7 11th gen, 16GB RAM, 512 GB SSD, windows 11 home and office 365 student, all these at just 50K (plus 4k for warranty extension) Using for almost 1.5 years no issues spotted. I also have similar requirements like you and I think this served my purpose very well.

Also if you ask cons, I think the build quality and screen is pretty average, also the ports are not the latest ones.

You don't have confidence in Asus because you are a Samsung fanboi? 🤣

Any laptop with i7 or more for multiple tools handling. You will observe the smoothness of things in i7 completed to i5.

And you should definitely use ssd hard drive for high speed, else i7 also will behave like i3.

If it for app development also and need to work in ios means, then you need to take MacBook.

Now a days, minimum core i5 level is needed for job people. If it just browsing or less computational tasks than i3 is okay(entry level people).

For coding you dont need such high config. Ci3 with 8 gb ram is enough. Go for higher if need to use android studio

I might use Android Studio as well in future, for that reason I want to be future proof.
