Remote
Even small companies like 1-10. 10-30 employees count. Those startups also posting onsite jobs

I've seen so many job descriptions. Most of these global companies who have offices everywhere in the world; they give an option to work remotely for almost all countries except India.
Take this company for example. They have remote options on every location. However, in India they want 3 days per week mandatory hybrid. Why is that? Why can't they provide remote for India branches too? Or make every other location as onsite/hybrid.
what i have observed in recent days is whenever i see a job opening for remote or outside of india there will be very less people who have applied for the role no matter even if it's a week old posting but if any opening is for india, within 2 hours it will be over 100 applications on every job title. i believe it's way for them to get their work done easily of sorting and selecting resume.
Yes have seen recently quite a lot of these remote job opportunity. Curious to know why not in India
I had observed the same, even I don't know the answer
1 I could think of is, with india, there's a bigger team and cheaper capital to get office. So all in all, better productivity for younger startups

I am looking for companies startups which offer remote roles in India for engineering roles.
I am not part of the Bangalore/Hyderabad group and due to personal reasons can't move there.
Due to this a lot of opportunities get lost as companies don't entertain applications. Is there a way to convince the hiring manager against this?
