“Iran retaliates against Israel with drone and missile strikes” Iranian leader came to the UN warning after Israel attacked, It’s more like Israel was asking for it. Iran didn’t strike first if that’s your first question.

Also, Iran didn’t use Hypersonic missiles, they didn’t seem to be that serious. Israel’s iron dome easily defended all predictable attacks.

As for the 2nd question, who can really predict how this will turn out. Israel will surely be launching attacks, East (Russia/China) won’t intervene until it gets more serious. But this is definitely a trigger
