Maybe he thought since Bihar doesn't have many businesses, he might bring one there and thrive but that backfired very badly

A long time back, i read an article about how Zoroastrian came to an end in modern day iran.
Unlike other conquests, persians didn't force conversions en masse. The story goes like they gave option that people were allowed to continue their practice but have to pay jizya and all their kids have to enroll in islamic schools.

Strategists say, that it took just two generations to wipe out Zoroastrianism out of Persia. One generation is 10 years.
If one applies the same logic to India, we can see how effective this is. . UP/ bihar have seen nothing but decay for the last 50 years. Building roads and bridges is not going to bring back anything. The ecosystem is completely destroyed. WB was highly industrialized economy till 1960. In 1970 commies got to power. Systemic dismantling of the industrial structure followed. They never recovered. Same with kerala Has anyone seen any news about a company putting up a factory in WB/kerala?. hospitals in bangalore are filled with Bengalis and Biharis doctors.

Ecosystem once destroyed can never be recovered. Politicians have realised that emigration is best as they can export their headache.
