Building on top of Android still means google still gets the juice (user data) so openai phone shouldn't be a thing.

AI play store with chatbots to agents specifically designed to work on such phones is what I am predicting . Allow developers to build AI based apps and release in the environment . This can open up a new space and end the google monopoly .
So you're predicting a phone for hardware?
Neither.
I think it would be accessory to a phone. But not built on anything.
Actually a device which also serves as a phone. But in reality it’s just an accessory for AI.
That can do everything that the best model of chat gpt can do.
Take notes, respond to emails and all of that. I have no idea how it would interact with the phone or even if it would basically be a way to collect as much data as it can and personalise for us. And then ads will be crazy personalised obviously but then that’s the only way they can collect more data which is useful in every way.
At least that’s what I think but then I don’t know anything about anything
Smart watches, glasses and tws comes first into mind.. Apple still has this massive advantage opening up their ecosystem & charging fee / or just partnering up with say Gemini.
There's just stupid products built on top of locked apple ecosystem which sell .. like : Magsafe call recorder for iphone - https://www.magmoglobal.com/ Physical key to lock/unlock apps to reduce screen time- https://getbrick.app/products/brick#how-it-works

If we can just guess this in a simple thread here. Why would they have done a $4B acquisition?
It is likely something all of us cannot even imagine
It's fun to discuss.. no?
There are product managers & hardware engineers here from all Big tech & unicorns.. I'm sure atleast someone here can give valid inputs 🤷🏻♀️

It will be a family of devices :)
