Can someone explain what the issue is? As far as I remember Zomato was the first one to add "Veg only" option in food search and "pure veg" in restaurant search. So, this is the logical next step. Exactly what's the issue here and who have they offended?
@DaringTrain , in addition to app changes, they also announced a whole new fleet who will only serve orders from these 100% veg restaurants. That fleet was supposed to wear green shirts, unlike the red ones for all orders today.
So ??? What's wrong with that? There are a lot of communities in India like jains, brahmin etc who prefer their food to be made at a 100% veg restaurant. And is not anywhere kept near to non veg ones. Few stupid folks are saying that people might also start revolting against the delivery partners who wears green jacket and themselves eat non veg. What a stupid argument it is. No one cares about the preferences of delivery partners it's not like these communities don't interact with people who eat non veg food.
