Anti-Hasina Mobs in Bangladesh Target Hindu Minorities Amidst Political Turmoil

- The mobs opposed to Bangladesh’s deposed leader Sheikh Hasina are looting and rioting across the country, targeting facilities and leaders of Hasina’s Bangladesh Awami League (BAL) as well as minorities. - At least two Hindu councillors have been killed, and attacks on temples and houses of Hindu commonfolk have been reported. The violence has been fueled by the pro-Pakistan Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) and Islamist Jamaat-e-Islami. - The agitation began as a student-led protest against the quota system but escalated into a mass movement against Hasina’s 15-year rule, climaxing on Sunday with nearly 100 people killed. Hasina resigned and fled the country on Monday. - Religious centres of the Hindu movement ISKCON and temples of goddess Kali have been attacked. In Meherpur, an ISKCON center was burnt, and deities were destroyed. In Noakhali, mobs attacked Hindu houses. - Student protest leader Prapti Taposhi highlighted the ongoing violence against Hindus, criticizing the military for not protecting the minority. There are concerns that with Hasina out of the picture, the persecution of Hindus could massively increase. Source: First Post

Profile Review: 22F, Associate Product Manager (2Y), targeting 2026 MBA

I (22F) am an Indian, targetting international MBA (top schools across SE Asia > UK > US - INSEAD, NUS would be ideal) in the 2026 intake. I am seeking guidance about my profile and specifically if I should add more diversity to my profile by making a switch/taking up new projects in the 1 year I have before applying. Sharing my professional details in reverse chronological order: 2 years workex, and currently working, at a mid-scale e-commerce startup in India as in product management; this place has a good culture, so I have learnt quite a lot and also got promoted 6 months back BA (Hons) Economics from one of the top colleges in India (SRCC, DU) for non-tech higher studies; was actively involved in many societies, did a lot of internships and have a 9+ CGPA as well Don't think this would matter, but I have a very good score (98%+) in school as well Like mentioned above, please help me specifically with how to make the most of this 1 year before I apply to increase my chances for an admit.

Put on PIP due to Personal Targetting

I was having a rift with my manager at Walmart. She put me on PIP because I was not available on the days I was on leave. I had approved applied leaves on the days she quoted for PIP. Now culture has became too toxic and too much micromanagement is happening. I need help from community. I need referral in good companies so that I can come out of this situation safely.
